Ark of Freedom Alliance seeks qualified candidates for the position of Clinical Program Director.
Office Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Services Location: South Florida (Generally Broward & Miami-Dade Counties, Florida)
The Ark of Freedom Alliance Clinical Program Director oversees and supervises the programmatic staff, services, and activities administered by Ark of Freedom Alliance. This includes outreach, education, prevention, case management/care coordination, housing, peer mentoring, life skills building, and associated services for male and LGBTQ youth and young adult human trafficking victims in South Florida. The Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for daily operations; direct service provision, and ensuring successful client, program, agency, and system outcomes and applicable grant compliance. The Ark of Freedom Alliance Clinical Program Director supervises assigned program and direct service staff. The Ark of Freedom Alliance Clinical Program Director reports to the Ark of Freedom Alliance Chief Executive Officer.
Primary Position Responsibilities
The Clinical Program Director supports outreach, referral, and screening for victimization and other risk factors; oversees client eligibility and enrollment in agency services; and supervises case management, care coordination, mentoring, peer support, and navigation staffing and services. This includes direct clinical screening and assessment of clients; case management, care coordination, therapeutic counseling and intervention; and crisis de-escalation, support, resolution, and prevention.
The Clinical Program Director provides supervision to ensure safety of staff members; adherence to rules, policies, and procedures; appropriate delivery of direct client care; a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive service atmosphere of dignity and respect to all clients and staff.
The Clinical Program Director networks, builds, manages, and maintains community relationships; supports organizational and community capacity building; facilitates professional development and internal and external meetings
The Clinical Program Director ensures accurate and timely client and program documentation, record keeping, data management, confidentiality, and security; continuous quality improvement and grant compliance; report preparation and submission; and program evaluation and sustainability.
The ideal candidate:
· Possesses a master’s degree in social work or related field of study.
· Licensed clinical professional for a minimum of one year.
· 2 - 3 years of human service experience, particularly with male and LGBTQ youth and young adults.
· 2 years of supervisory experience in human services.
· 1 year of experience working with behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse) related issues, complex trauma, and court-involvement.
Salary and Benefits
$65,000 Salary with competitive benefits annually
