Broward Counter-trafficking COLLECTIVE
Mobilized in the Spring of 2020 the Counter-Trafficking Collective is a cross-sector alliance of leading change-agents and entities working together to increase the capacities of Broward County systems to better prevent and intervene in the exploitation of historically underserved male youth, including LGBTQ+, and boys and young men of color.
Collective impact is a data-driven approach to tackling complex social issues. By design, the model ensures equity among participants/agencies, and that all the voices of the community potentially affected by the trafficking epidemic are meaningfully included at the table.
Phase one capacity building support was funded by the Children's Services Council of Broward County with interim backbone support provided by Ark of Freedom Alliance. For information on membership, funding and promotion, contact Ark of Freedom Alliance by calling (954) 778-2871, or sending email to nathan.earl@aofalliance.org.
