You are invited to a donation-appreciated public film screening of the highly acclaimed film BOYS Documentary. The film will be followed by a panel discussion that places human trafficking survivors and clinicians in dialogue with the public in an informal, come-as-you-are setting to talk about the commercial sexual exploitation of male youth and young adults.
Panelists represent multiple perspectives on human trafficking, including parents, survivors, law enforcement, child welfare and public health. We will join together to talk about how we as a community can mobilize to continue raising awareness and educate ourselves on how to address this important issue. We will also discuss opportunities to join the movement in your local area.
Panelists:
Nathan Earl, Ark of Freedom Alliance
Noah Lowery, Survivor-Advocate
Joseph Scaramucci, Human Trafficking Detective
Theresa Kennedy, Florida Department of Children and Families
Anna Smith, Co-Producer of BOYS Documentary
Shanika Ampah, Guiding Light Outreach
