Collective Impact Backbone

Ark of Freedom Alliance provides backbone support for Broward' Counter-Trafficking Collective. For each collective impact effort, a backbone support infrastructure is needed to foster the cross-sector communication, alignment, and collaboration required to achieve population-level systems change in the area of focus. Backbones are specific to the site and the population that the effort hopes to impact.

In our role as interim backbone, we serve in six essential functions for the success of the greater collective. They include:

  1. Guiding Vision and Strategy

  2. Supporting Aligned Activities

  3. Establishing Shared Measurement Practices

  4. Cultivating community engagement and ownership

  5. Advancing policy

  6. Mobilizing resources
